Purpose of Fund

This fund will be available for any performing or fine arts related program in the Center Grove
Community School Corporation. Funds will be used for direct assistance to performing arts (such as
band, choir, orchestra, winter guard, indoor percussion and theatre) and fine arts (such as drawing,
painting, photography and ceramics).
Our goal will be to provide funding for programs whose budgets are tight due to cutbacks in the
corporation and other rising costs, such as gas prices.

To receive money from the fund, a school official representing the program must file an assistance request form for each fiscal year, starting with FY’11 (July 1, 2011). Qualifying programs are any performing
arts or fine arts areas. Those filing for assistance should be specific about how the money will be useds—supplies, transportation, contest entry fees, etc.
